The Cursed Hoard of Blackwater Crypt

Seeking riches and renown, a new bandit crew has stumbled upon the legend of Blackwater Crypt.

The Crypt was a labyrinth of vaulted halls containing the sacred dead of some long forgotten god.

The land around the Crypt slowly fell to corruption until eventually the fetid landscape cursed the Holy place and caused it to fall into creeping decay.

Millennia have passed and now only the legend of Blackwater Crypt remains.

Deep within the catacombs lies the last great king, wealth piled around him. At the entrance a Black Knight in desiccated armor stands guard, returning to un-life when his crypt is disturbed.

The Cursed Hoard of Blackwater Crypt is a level 0 Gauntlet designed to allow new players to try out some of the mechanics found in the Shadowdark Quickstart guide.
